Ese no es el problema, ocurre que me equivoqé en el mail. la solucion es
poner el archivop postgresql.jar en /usr/lib/jdk1.2/.../jar/
y ya funcionan los servlets, esto le ha pasado a mucha gente, gracias y
muy amable
