Unfortunatly, the new FAQ at "http://locus.apache.org/jyve-faq/Turbine" is down for more than a week now and I haven't been able to check it for answers. I'm using JServ 1.1.2, Apache 1.3.12, Solaris 2.6 and 2.7 (on E10K). The problem is that at startup the Java VM is sometimes not launched by the apache process. This happend from time to time is not strictly reproducable. The module's Log is: --------------------------------------- [30/10/2000 08:54:25:690] (INFO) Apache-JServ 1rst initialization: JVM will be started later 1 8318 8317 [30/10/2000 08:54:25:725] (INFO) Apache Module was cleaned-up [30/10/2000 08:54:25:885] (INFO) Apache-JServ 1rst initialization: JVM will be started later 1 8334 8318 [30/10/2000 08:54:31:709] (INFO) Apache Module was cleaned-up --------------------------------------- It seems as if the intermediate process (the one between the two forks) doesn't terminate fast enough.
