Don't make us guess your problem!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Java Apache Users, I am seeking assistance of someone with a bit of patience, and who is prepared to help. If that's not you then ignore this email. If you can provide email help, I would greatly appreciate it. I am stuck wading through documentation that is difficult to work out and apply in FAQ land, to what I want to do. That's my humble opinion. I would like to find out simple reliable methods to test my apache configuration, and then use it to load and configure presently working servlets for a database application. (under NT and a different servlet engine) I am finding it hard to work out how to test a servlet. I have read much documentation thus far. I don't mind if you send me links to an FAQ that would help. The thing is I am not sure how to link the htdocs directory to the servlets directory as they are in differnt locations. I have heard about URL rewriting, but that would help me get the servlets directory where my servlet applications repository is located. I am uising Unixware 7.1.0 and Apache 1.3.4 The JServ Engine comes up as working in a browser and I can see its configuration details. The trouble I have is that when I put in My http://domain/servlets/example/(anexample) I get nothing. Anyhow, Thanks for listening.
