---------------------------------------------------------------- BEFORE YOU POST, search the faq at <http://java.apache.org/faq/> WHEN YOU POST, include all relevant version numbers, log files, and configuration files. Don't make us guess your problem!!! ---------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I am using Red Hat Linux 6.2 with Apache 1.3.12-2 & connected to internet via ADSL (dynamic IP). I am using services available at dyndns.org to map my dynamic IP against my_URL.dyndns.org . I have also enabled users home directory option in apache configuration which works fine if I point my browser to http://localhost/~username but I am not able to access the same if I use http://my_URL.dyndns.org/~username- it just gives an error page not found. I thought that maybe in apache configuration file I have to tweak the server name so I tried setting "servername my_URL.dyndns.org" but it did not work. Please let me know if you can point anything that I might have missed out. Thanks!
