hi,

i hope i'm asking my question on the appropriate forum, if not i offer
my apologies apriori.

i have a servlet generating a html form which i run over ssl
(apache-jserv 1.3.9b3 and mod_ssl 2.4.2).
the trouble is that the browser (netscape 4.7) asks me to select a
certificate each time i
submit the form. i thought that sending back to the browser the http
header SSL_SESSION_ID
with the value i get from the server, so i modified the sources to get
that value but it didn't do it.

can someone suggest how to maintain the ssl session or point out the
resources that explain how it is done, as i failed to findany reference
to how it is done so far.
tia,
