Hi All,

I'm trying to install Apache 1.3.12 with Jserv 1.1.2 and php 4.0.1pl2 (and
jakarta after Jserv's working) on Solaris 2.6 (SPARC).

I've compiled both PHP and Jserv as static modules for apache and configured
them as per the installation info and FAQ's, "httpd -l" shows:

Compiled-in modules:
  http_core.c
  mod_env.c
     .
     .
     .
  mod_php4.c
  mod_jserv.c
suexec: disabled; invalid wrapper /opt/local/apache/bin/suexec

- Is the suexec yadda yadda yadda, line above anything to worry about?

Neither php or jserv appear to work. .php files aren't recognised ("save as"
given instead) even with the following in httpd.conf and the Jserv zone
("example" as per installation docs) doesn't exist. (i.e, the "example"
directory doesn't exist).

    AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
    AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

- Is there some form of conflict when installing both php and Jserv as static
mod's, installing just php works fine (haven't tried just jserv yet)?

I'm also not getting any Jserv logs (yes, user nobody has permission to create
the logs) which would lead me to believe that the jserv module isn't running.

- Any Ideas welcome.

Thanks in advance for the response,

Haydn.
