Feel free to reach me at 703-496-7212 ** *Title: **Programmer/ developer* ***Location :-* *Durham, North Carolina * *Duration:* 2 Years They are looking for *Programmer /Developer *and the following is a more detailed description of the job. *Project Description:* * Develop, customize, plan, and deploy network management automation solutions to increase operational efficiency and enhance productivity for network operations. * Interface with Ops Tier 1/2/3 organizations to assess requirements and deploy customizations to solve business problems for workcenters globally. Submit, represent, and assess operational requirements to R&D and Technology Support organizations to support system features and enhancements for Target Architecture products. * Provide production support for critical systems and tools. Quickly create ad-hoc scripts to resolve time-sensitive operational problems. Candidate must demonstrate an advanced working knowledge of UNIX / Linux; must have advanced knowledge in UNIX-based scripting languages, such as PERL/PHP and UNIX Shell. * Advanced knowledge of interface with networking devices via expect, Perl and SNMP is required. Knowledge of SQL is required including experience with MySQL. Oracle, HTML, CGI, ASP is a plus. * Candidate must be a self-starter, be highly motivated, work independently, and have good written and oral communication skills. Experience in a network Operations environment preferred. * Intermediate knowledge of general networking and LAN/WAN concepts, Cisco networking, Frame Relay, and ATM preferred.
