A solid understanding of: - UNIX based operating system and commands - *Memory paging* and *swapping* - System resource allocation - Inter-process communications - Devices, associated device drivers, and what they do - File system concepts – *clustering, logical partitioning, NFS DNS,* etc. - Differences between application processes and operating system processes - Understanding and operation of various monitoring tools, such as *TNG** CA **-Unicenter, TIBCO Hawk, HP Openview, and Solaris monitoring tools*. - This is a mission critical position that includes dollar liability to Client.
