Following is the description for the requirements. Familiarity with WINDOWS Services (Visual Studio 2005) 2. Familiarity with Web Services (calling them from a Windows Service) 3. Familiarity with access remote data tables (reading DB2 tables helpful) 4. Familiarity with SMTP (e-mail processes on a server) 5. Be able to communicate with internal technical people and transfer knowledge to internal support person when done. *Desired:* 1. Any knowledge of OnBase, RightFax, FileNet would be helpful** *Candidate Responsibilities * * * *The service to be designed created will:* 1. Run in the background on a windows server and poll an IBM mainframe DB2 table for requests. (As an example, wait and check every second) The purpose of this fax process is to not tie up the browser and let the customer request an image and receive it later while doing other work since view images takes significant time. This needs to run in the background as a separate application process. 2. When the service finds a new request, it will access the claim image web service to get a PDF created. 3. It will format an e-mail with an attachment of the PDF sending it to a pre-defined RightFax enabled address with some embedded codes for faxing.
