REQUIREMENT DETAIL: Position : Programmer with GIS/.NET Start Date : 02/09/2009 End Date : 06/30/2009 Location: Rich Mond, VA Experience Required: • Experience with .NET development - ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET, ArcObjects • Experience building web applications using the combination of the following technologies: web services, XML, HTML, ASP, VBScript, JavaScript, and SOAP. • Experience designing and developing GIS applications and spatial databases for the Web environment. • Experience working with ArcSDE (8.x and 9) • Knowledge of Oracle (9i) • Familiarity with Java and Macromedia Flash and Web server administration. • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, graphics and design skills, and business and requirements analysis skills. • Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions with minimal guidance. • Graphics design: GUI usability, layout and design, scalable vector graphics • Experience with ArcGIS Server 9 is a plus.
