Top 3 skills for these openings: strong analytical ability to take business information and understand what it translates to from a files/fields/programs perspective, solid understanding of database concepts which include the ability to query data in native SQL, and because of the nature of the projects, client really would like candidates that have mortgage servicing experience. Client really looking for true systems analysts that have strong technical background in Use Case modeling, SQL querying, strong understanding of database concepts and relationships, familiarity with service oriented architecture, XML, and object oriented analysis and design. Programmer background is acceptable but they will not be expected to do any development. The standard need for strong communication skills, preference for mortgage servicing experience, and gap analysis/requirements gathering are also important too.
