Position: Project Manager (LCMS) Location: Bloomington, IL Duration: 8+ Months Rate: ALAP Business Case for hiring 1 External Project Manager for Learning & Development PPTS work efforts Prefer US Citizen/EAD/ GC MUST HAVE: Learning Content Management System (LCMS). Summary: It is the recommendation of the Program Managers we bring in one external Project Manager to begin work immediately. Agency, P&C, Professional Development, and Financial Services all have on deck work which will not be activated as promptly as possible due to lack of Project Management capacity. Details: Role: Project Manager Skills: a.. Lead and manage team with project planning, execution, control, and close-out processes b.. Manage development of Work Agreement(Project Charter), project plan, and base-lined schedule c.. Assist Program Manager with integration of project plan into Program-level plan and schedule d.. Monitor and track project scope, cost, time, resource allocations, and change requests in accordance with established L&D PMO standards e.. Recommend changes to project direction, scope, cost, time, and resources f.. Resolve disputes and issues; escalate when appropriate in accordance with established program standards g.. Monitor project team resource needs and allocations; lead planning and response to changes Additional Information: · Successful candidate will be assigned to a variety of projects and not reside in any one program · Successful candidate will report directly to Manager, PMO Manager for all assignments · Successful candidate must work onsite in the L&D Corporate or OAB location · Successful candidate is expected to work a traditional Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4PM schedule at a minimum. · Overtime must be approved prior to using by the appropriate Program Manager · Successful candidate will be issued a State Farm laptop and be provided access to all necessary tool to support the L&D project management processes · Preference will be given to a candidate with experience successfully delivering training projects using a formal learning development methodology such as CEP. · Preference will be given to a candidate with experience building training which has been delivered on a Learning Content Management System (LCMS). · Preference will be given to a candidate with experience building multimedia training solutions.
