EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Math Required Skills: • 4+ years of OpenText Livelink experience as a developer and administrator up to version 9.7 comprised of: • Worked with Open Text SDK tools and Enterprise Library Services • Worked with knowledge management, workflows and taxonomy including exposure to one or more of the following Data Mining, Text Mining, DAM, DRM, Ontology, Semantic Web, BPM, DITA, DocBook, Dublin Core • Developing Livelink LiveReports and WebReports • Worked with Livelink Modules: Records Management, Physical Objects, Attribute Extension Tables • Worked with OpenText Services for SharePoint (OTSFS) • Experience with scripts and stylesheets, specifically Oscript, CSS, XSL • Experience in web technologies including JavaScript, XHTML, HTML, PGP, XML, Ajax • Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate technical and non-technical resources. • Excellent communication and presentation skills. • Must have strong analytical skills. • Proven track record of consistently hitting target deadlines. • Demonstrated ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals. • Demonstrated ability to assess strategic objectives for decision-making and self-initiated action without significant guidance. • Experience in SQL/Server and Oracle Data Base Management Systems (DBMS) • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, MS Project, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, UML. Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced degree preferred. • Working knowledge of project methodology such as Agile is preferred. • Group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills are highly desired. • Insurance experience is highly desired, specifically in Auto, Workers Compensation, Commercial Property and Surety. *PURPOSE OF THE JOB * The ECM/KM Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration and day to day operation of Company's Enterprise Content Management system applications. The incumbent works with the EIS Director and senior project staff to plan, estimate, schedule, design and execute various projects around content management and the enterprise repository. This position supports best practices ensuring that implementation, enhancement and maintenance projects meet customer satisfaction in function, timeliness and cost. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This position requires a detailed-oriented, highly energetic and motivated promoter of the iterative development lifecycle approach. With a high degree of independence, this position is responsible for thorough, high quality deliverables utilizing best practices for ECM/KM, taxonomy, report design, business process modeling, records management and development methodologies to deliver ECM/KM solutions. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Manage Users, Groups and Permissions within LiveLink, SharePoint and the Wiki • Manage jobs and processes in LiveLink, SharePoint and the Wiki • Implement Taxonomy through manual and automatic classification • Create and maintain classification trees • Create and manage Record Series Identifiers (RSI) and RSI schedules • Manage physical records and barcode label management • Manage the disposition process, perform disposition searches and create detailed disposition reports • Serve as a technical leader to team around capture, management, storage, preservation and delivery of enterprise content. • Assist architecture and project teams in creating any design documents, diagrams and schemas • Assist infrastructure on system hardware, software and database design and/or specifications to support ECM/KM applications. • Implement best practices around ECM/KM requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing daily data loads. • Participate in contract negotiations, statements of work and management of vendors. • Identify the resource requirements and skill sets required to meet project goals. • Analyze short- and long-term resource needs and recommend/adjust staffing and resources appropriately. • Monitor and communicate progress, revise task timelines and effort estimates based on project team members task-specific status updates. • Communicate and promulgate development and methodology standards and project procedures to project team members. • Specify the quality assurance process that will ensure the overall quality and continual improvement of the project deliverables. • Define and gain concurrence on both the success criteria for the delivery of the project, as well as the ways in which the success of the project will be measured. • Perform other related duties as required or assigned. *LANGUAGE SKILLS * Must communicate problem solutions clearly and professionally to a business audience in a way business users can understand (e.g., avoiding acronyms and technical terms); have good customer presence and support; and prompt professional follow-through; Must process report requests in an efficient manner without undue effort of the client to explain their requirements; Third party agencies Must be able to communicate technical requirements if necessary with outside agencies. External contractors Must be able to assess business requirements with business users for medium and high complexity projects and assign tasks to external contractors. IT department Must maintain a positive, cooperative working relationship with others in the IT department through professional communication and prompt follow-up to requests. EIS Group o Must be able to clearly and concisely articulate technical solutions to the rest of the EIS team and the EIS Director. o Must be able to clearly document technical specifications and test plans of existing and new processes.
