Send the resumes only on [email protected] MS SQL Server 2008 Developer Charlotte, NC 6 months $40/hr all inclusive *MS SQL Server 2008 Developer Consultant* *Job Title:* MS SQL Server Developer Consultant – Enterprise Data Warehouse Looking for a Microsoft SQL Server developer to join the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence team, the position involves the design, development and maintenance of enhancements in an MS SQL Server 2008 environment. The person will be responsible for data modeling, design, development, and production support of Business Intelligence applications developed using MS SQL Server 2008. * * *Skills Required* · Data modeling expertise in an enterprise data warehousing environment. · Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts such as dimensions and fact tables. · Strong development experience using MS SQL Server tables, views, stored procedures, etc. · Strong experience using DTS/SSIS. · Strong experience building extract, transformation, and load processes to convert operational Transactional data into dimensions and fact tables · Experience defining and building necessary audits and controls to ensure the accuracy of the data. · Experience troubleshooting SQL Server related issues. · Experience providing technical support in a 24 by 7 production environment. · Ability to research and resolve technical issues independently. · Must have very good communication skills and speak with non-technical customers. · Must be able to work within a team of other data architects and developers. *Industry Experience Required * · 5+ years experience in data warehousing, preferably in consumer products industry. · 5+ years with MS SQL Server, most recent experience using 2005 and 2008 versions. · 5+ years with DTS/SSIS development. · Oracle database experience a plus.
