Location is Chicago, IL (*There will be a Face to Face interview)* This is a 6+ Month (Could go much longer) ·Rate is $45/hr C2C This position will focus on the design, development, and testing of *C/C++ Algorithmic Trading Application.* ·Must have recent *C++ Experience* ·Must Have *Trading* Experience ·Must have *FIX Protocol* Experience ·Must have *Multithreading* Experience Responsibilities will include requirements analysis, Design and Develop C/C++ application on Windows and/or Linux platform and Production support to existing Algorithmic Trading Application. The new hire will also be involved in unit testing, integration testing, feature testing and Regression testing of application. Additional responsibilities include preparing SOX documents and documenting code in user readable format. The person should have good communication skills, be a quick learner, be able to manage priorities with multitasking abilities, and good team player. Minimum Professional and Technical Skills: · 5+ years design and programming experience. · 5+ years of experience developing client server application. · Programming language in *C/C++ and XML.* · Scripting language in Shell and Perl · Object-Oriented design and programming · *TCP/IP Protocol.* · Multi-threaded programming. · Working experience in Windows and Linux/Unix environments. · Working Knowledge *of MS SQL Server.* · Exposure to *SDLC* Full Life Cycle development. · Test case planning, design and development. · Service Oriented architecture design. · Trading application development experience preferred. · Experience in using tools such as *CVS, Visual Source Safe, and SVN etc.* · Proven ability to carry technical vision and provide technical leadership. · Strong written and verbal communication skills. · Strong set of problem solving and analytical skills. · A strong sense of process, detail and follow-through. · Ability to multi-task across problems domains and various contexts. · Good oral and written communication skills. · Ability to work effectively in a team or work independently.
