In conjunction with Project Management, installing, upgrading and configuring complex database management system software that has broad business impact. ? Validate that all physical database designs satisfy business requirements, and meet standards to database objects, data integrity, security, performance and recoverability. ? Monitor capacity and performance, troubleshooting and proactively resolving a wide variety of problems. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 5+ years of directly related experience ? May lead cross functional teams to implement multiple processes within a broad business function. ? Instructs, directs and checks work of other DBAs. ? Actively identifies issues, seeks out solutions and makes recommendations to the broad business community to apply customized solutions to solve business problems. ? Project management skills ? Advanced knowledge of Windows systems architecture and physical database to produce reliable, secure, performing systems ? Enterprise architecture design skills and knowledge of various multi layer systems such as SAN, Windows, networking, and applications. ? Strong installation/patch management and MS SQL trouble shooting skills ?
