Thank you in advance for your help! 2 positions – mid/senior level 2-3 months – strong possibility of extension. *HOT BUTTONS ARE VERY STRONG J2EE AND THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF NETWORK CONNECTIVITY (TCP/IP). EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDING SCRIPTING SKILLS LIKE PERL AND PYTHON ARE PLUSSES. CANDIDATE DOES NOT NEED TO HAVE CLOUD COMPUTING BUT IT’S A MAJOR PLUS IF THEY DO.* The role is in Goldman’s emerging Cloud Computing area. Senior developer with strong UNIX experience. Team Leader skills preferred to mentor 2 junior developers. 5-10 years experience – self starter Basic Java, Perl, Python skills Working knowledge of databases Strong knowledge of IP networking. IP name spaces, DHCP, sublans Knows XML well Comfortable with Web 2.o technologies. RSS/ATOM Agile experience is a plus.
