Job description: *Role: Test Lead* Location: Richardson, TX Duration: 6+ months *Skills: Testing with J2EE Java, XML etc. background* Required Skills Minimum 5 - 7 years of IT Experience in the Development and/or Testing of IT applications. Should demonstrate the ability to lead end-to-end testing. Expertise in Service Oriented Architecture is plus. 3 – 5 Years experience in database design and development using Oracle, SQL Server, and other similar products. Experience with various testing methodologies preferably iterative approach. Significant experience performing QA/Test Analyst role on projects involving large systems integration. Ability to deliver comprehensive testing/quality assurance documentation including: test cases, test plans and traceability documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues by identifying and communicating corrective steps and/or technical changes required. Demonstrate the ability to provide advanced technical support on highly complex technical and integration issues. Design quality control and test procedures to ensure deliverables meet established design and performance goals. Perform spot audits and tests as needed to ensure adherence to client standards. Interpret exceptions received from transactions and develop a path forward by recommending resolutions or suggesting workarounds. Represent Development on status calls, lockdown testing bridges, and check-in points. Perform research on active issues and provide latest information to leadership. Acquire an understanding of business flows introduced through creation of new applications and projects, or enhancements to existing ones. Other Requirements Strong client-facing skills - assertiveness, strong communications skills, leadership, self-starter, etc. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in a matrix organization and team environments. Excellent Problem Solving Skills. Strong Analytical skills. Motivated self-starter that is able to manage successfully through uncertainty and change.
