Job description: *Role: Sr. SQL Server Developer* Location: South Brunswick, NJ Duration: 9+ months GC Citizens preferred but open Locals NJ/NY but who can come for F2F interview will be okay *Business Reason:* The CRM Integration Project requires a SQL Server Developer to implement a data migration staging database and develop scripts to migrate legacy data to the new CRM system. *Job Description: *This individual will perform as a member of a project team, under direction of a Data Architect, to implement a data migration solution for a CRM -system implementation utilizing Salesforce.com. Data from legacy systems will be extracted and loaded into a staging database, where transforms will be applied and data prepared to load into Salesforce.com. Primary responsibilities: - Create and administer the SQL Server staging database - Participate in the design of the data migration solution - Develop T-SQL scripts and ETL processes to load and transform data extracts from legacy systems into a SQL Server staging database - Develop scripts to provision data to be loaded into the target system - Support data migration and testing activities in integration, user acceptance testing and production environments - Fully document and comment all scripts and jobs created - Collaborate with a Data Architect and legacy application development teams to complete design, development and support activities. *Required Skills:* 10+ years experience min must -5+ years experience as a database developer using SQL Server 2000/2005 must -T-SQL (DDL, DML, scripts, stored procedures, triggers) must -ETL process development (preferably SSIS/DTS or Informatica) -2+ years experience as a database administrator using SQL Server 2000/2005 in a Windows Server environment, or equivalent knowledge must -Prior experience with large-scale data migration projects must -Thorough understanding of relational database conceptsmust -Must work effectively as a member of a team -Strong communication skills must *Additional Skills:* -Familiarity with Salesforce.com is a plus -Prior experience with Salesforce.com Data Loader is preferred, but not required -Prior experience with Onyx is a plus Your quick response will be highly appreciated. -- Thanks Chandra Shekar Marketing Incharge Smart IMS Inc. 103, Morgan Lane, Suite # 104, Plainsboro New Jersey- 08536.
