Location: New Jersey Job description for vocabulary analyst JOB TITLE: SCIENTIFIC VOCABULARY SPECIALIST Required: B.S. in science (Chemistry preferred); computer experience including database searching, web searching and experience with Microsoft products (WORD, EXCEL, email); good communication skills and attention to detail. Preferred: experience with drug terminologies, understanding of ATC classification system, library science background Responsibilities: Assist in content management of internal drug dictionaries in support of clinical and regulatory activities. Duties include: • Responding in a timely manner to requests from global users for the addition of new drug names and clarification of existing terms, researching and determining the appropriate new drug terms, and adding drug term data to the vocabulary authoring system. • Researching drug names from select countries to enhance geographical coverage of the drug dictionaries using online databases, web sites and other references for drug terminology.
