Position :  ATG Application Administrator

Duration :  6 months

Location :  Bethlehem, PA

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This person would also ensure systems are compatible and in compliance with
the standards for open systems architectures as they apply to the
implementation and specification for information technology solutions.

The ATG Application Administrator will provide detailed and timely project
status updates to management and internal customers by utilizing
departmental standards and procedures. A focus on providing world class
customer service is essential. Lastly they would be involved with managing
delegated relationships with external contacts and having frequent and
direct contract with the most senior level managers and executives to
provide consulting and technical expertise.

 

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field OR
equivalent combination of education/certification(s) and experience.

 

Minimum of 3 years experience with ATG (Commerce, B2B Order Management) and
7-10 years total experience in IT

3 to 5 years of UNIX/Linux Administration experience is strongly preferred
JBOSS experience or similar application servers Understanding of fundamental
networking/distributed computing environment concepts Experience working in
a 24x7 production environment supporting e-commerce applications Experience
in on-call environments Experience with high volume, large B2B or B2C
e-commerce environments Strong communication skills to write documentation
for design and architecture documents.

Ability to work in groups as a team player Ability to help others in a fast
paced and perpetually changing systems environment Ability to work on
multiple simultaneous tasks in parallel and prioritize between them Strong
customer service, communication, and organizational skills, ability to be
highly productive in a fast-paced environment, and to work independently. 

 

3+ years ATG commerce experience from high level architecture to

day-to-day administration

Experience with ATG Commerce

Experience with latest versions of Content Administration and Search
Experience with troubleshooting CA issues and production performance
problems Highly desire prior experience with RHEL5 Experience with
performance tuning/capacity planning of servers Working knowledge of
relational database products and configuration/tuning, experience with
Oracle preferred Working knowledge of mass storage, volume managers, RAID,
and SAN infrastructure, HP/Hitachi/Brocade preferred Working knowledge of
compilers, linkers, and debuggers, has the ability to build applications
from source code Good working knowledge of security and can recommend,
implement, and audit security parameters.

Must be able to write jobs, using various scripting languages, i.e. Java
Script, Perl, PHP, etc.
