*Duration : 8-18 months* *Interview: phone* *Rate: $Open* 1 - Skilled in Oracle on AIX to create, refresh and clone multiple systems in both standard stand-alone, and multi-node RAC and Oracle Streamed environments. 2 - Design, implementation and support of a multi-node, high availability Oracle system. Includes responding to 7x24 performance issues (nights and weekends), resolving immediate issues, then developing long term fixes or design changes to support continued performance of the system. Sustaining work statement in database monitoring, automated tasks and routine service requests. Requires Oracle advance features resources to support the DBAs and application development teams. 3 - Database administration support, system integration and system performance and tuning needs. This requirement is to support the integration of common systems between systems. This may be to create an additional line of databases to support a production line, or enhance the current environment to accommodate the programs needs. This involves complex integrations with instantiations of existing application as well as integration with other applications. The required skills include AIX, Oracle, RAC, Streams, and possibly HACMP and SRDF replication. ANSI SQL and PL/SQL scripting skills to work with the application developers to improve the overall performance and stability of the application.
