*Duration: 3-6 months* *In-person interview is mandatory. * - Senior distributed Java Developer (7-10 yrs experience). *Should understand mainframe.* - Self starter and excellent communicator - Somebody on the creative side. Should be able to document. - Need both *JTA (Java transaction API) and JDBC* - Good database experience. - *Hibernate** is very nice to have * - *Testing knowledge and experience is highly desired. **Junit preferred * - *Any one from securities background would have an easier learning curve * *Sybase Database Skills.* The candidate should be *proficient with SQL, able to write and analyze complex stored procedures* and queries with multi-table joins and aggregate functions. The candidate should have experience with query optimization and be familiar with generating and analyzing query plans. Prior experience with Sybase is required; *experience with UDB is a plus.* *Unix Perl and Shell scripting.* The candidate should have extensive experience developing complex solutions based on *Shell and Perl scripting technologies*. Familiarity with *Autosys is a plus.* Core Java. The candidate should have solid understanding of core *Java concepts and Design Patterns.* *Distributed Systems using EJB and JMS.* Understanding of the complete lifecycle of local and distributed transactions and resource enlistment strategies is a plus. *Testing Framework.* The candidate should have a good understanding of principles behind test driven development and have hands on experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit.
