Responsible for all aspects of system design, development, test, and implementation cycles using managed service provider (MSP) resources. Need to work closely with IT PM’s, Functional Managers, and Business system analysts in “Professional Services area” to take on the technical deliverables for projects including technical design, development, and testing. Drive major cross-functional initiatives which are enabled through core Oracle ERP11i functionality. A deep understanding of Oracle Projects modules is required. Job Requirements: 8-10 years of Development experience of which at least 6-8 years mainly in Oracle E-Business with a focus on Oracle Projects, OM, AR, PO and GL both as a technical and functional resource Extensive experience as a technical solutions architect in Oracle 11i Project Modules as the core *Additional Skills: * Oracle Projects, Order Mangement, PO, AR, GL Oracle developer tool set (Forms, Reports, SQL,PL/SQL and Workflows and OAF) * * · *Job Summary:* As a Programmer/Analyst you are part of a team of professionals who design, develop, document, test, debug, deploy, and support IT systems company-wide. You may specialize in a specific functional area such as Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Data Warehouse, Application Integration or Web Services, or you may work with internal clients from multiple functions. A strong technical knowledge base and project management skills are required for this position. Additionally, you will work closely with teams within and across functions to understand technical requirements. You must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. *Essential Functions:* - Perform technical feasibility analysis. - Design, develop, document, test, debug, and deploy applications to automate business processes and improve efficiency. Design and development tasks may be highly complex and impact multiple functional areas. - Meet with partners and vendors to evaluate technical feasibility of system solutions; provide estimates of resources required to complete project. - Provide mentorship and supervise more junior Programmer/Analysts. - Train users in conversion and implementation of system. - Participate in business requirements analysis and business process re-engineering. - Participate in, and provide input into weekly staff meetings to align projects/tasks with department goals and deliverable schedules. - Establish project plans and milestones for other staff on the development team. - Responsible for quality assurance and code review of programs developed by other developers on the staff. - Lead cross-functional team projects ensuring success attainment of joint objectives and goals. *Requirements:* - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, task and project management, and organizational skills. - Extensive programming and development skills. - Knowledge of one or more programming languages and development tools. - Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer facing environment. - Thorough functional understanding of one or more functional business areas. - Working knowledge of enterprise application system development methodology and life cycle. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Project; or other similar tools. - In-depth understanding of: relational database concepts internet technologies *Unix/Linux operating system functions* - Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of other programmer/analysts cross functional peers to support deadlines. - Ability to use IT Program Management Office system development guidelines and methodology. - Ability to lead projects and drive initiatives through implementation cycles. Responsibility and Interaction: - The tasks this individual is responsible for are often non-routine and unstructured, requiring creative solutions. - This individual will apply attained experiences and knowledge in solving routine to moderately complex problems. *Interaction:* - This individual must work effectively with Staff to Vice President level employees within the function, and the technical team on assigned projects. There may be communication with employees in other functions as required. - Limited management direction is provided to employee on new projects or assignments as well as review of activities and priorities. - The ideal candidate will be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert on team projects. - To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through coaching and influencing others. *Education & Experience:* - A minimum of 5 years of experience is required. 6 to 8 years of experience is preferred. - A Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree required; Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field is preferred. - Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
