*This is David with Sancroosftusa* * * * * *Job Title: QA Tester ---Penetration Tester * *Location :* *Highlands Ranch,CO and Ashburn,VA** locals only* Duration : 10+ Months* ----------------------------- The main function of a penetration tester is to plan, conduct and report on approved security testing of applications and infrastructure. These test activities will be conducted using a combination of manual and automated approaches. The level 5 role should be expert across a broad range of contemporary technology areas (operating systems, middleware, development platforms, etc) and should be expert in the application of that knowledge for the purposes of conducting penetration test. The role is expected to interact with all levels of the organization and must be strongly self-driven. Education/Experience o Bachelors degree in Computer Science is a plus o Relevant industry certifications a plus o 5 or more years of directly relevant experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills o Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required) o Expert ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) o Expert security knowledge on a broad spectrum of technology areas (eg. Java, .NET, Windows, Linux, Solaris, AIX, Cisco, Checkpoint, Oracle, SQL Server, etc) (Required) o Expert skill on manual and automated ethical hacking techniques to conduct applications and infrastructure focused testing (Required) o Good knowledge of relevant toolkits (eg. Rational AppScan, NMAP, Nessus, Burp, Paros, etc) (Required) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Handle all aspects of penetration testing activities, from preparation through test execution and reporting o Communication with clients at all organizational levels.
