*Minimum Requirements:*

a)     Business Degree or at least six months of relevant experience.

b)    Knowledge of relational database concepts.

c)     Knowledge of programming languages (RPG required).

d)    Good oral and written communication skills.

e)     Good problem solving skills.

f)     Ability to work independently and multi-task.



*General Job Description:*

Analyzes, defines system requirements and develops, tests and installs code
for existing or proposed business applications or computer systems.
Responsible for all procedural and code documentation for assigned
projects.  Primarily responsible for IBM iSeries development and related
projects.



*Essential Job Functions*

1.      Analyzes, constructs, tests, debugs and documents functions
according to defined standards and policies.

2.      Understands:

a)     File structures and relational data base concepts and facilities.

b)    Development methodologies.

c)     The various computer-operating platforms and systems used by
Information Technology.

3.      Supports applications by analyzing business area problems,
developing and selecting alternatives, designing, constructing, testing, and
installing the selected alternative.

4.      Ensures the success of assigned projects by managing expectations
and controlling perceptions by clearly understanding the scope, working
within the defined scope, and communicating accurate status.

5.      Provide on-call support as required.

6.      If required:

a)     Prepare time estimates for assigned work.

b)    Provide written and oral reports.

c)     Develop requirements and specifications.

d)    Develop implementation plans for assigned work.

e)     Develop test plans (alpha, unit, and system) and approve the results
of those plans.

7.      Performs other duties as assigned.
