*Systems Analyst **
**Location: Knoxville, TN**
**Duration: 6+months**

This is an important role in ensuring that the right system is developed.
The Systems Analyst will function as the analysis, documentation and agile
champion for the team.
*Responsibilities include the following:*
• Working with a cross functional team and business owner to produce
high quality software by participating in feature discussions and test
driven development
• Leading the team in following agile practices to better respond to and
encouraging business flexibility
• Making recommendations on solutions that meet users’ needs while
minimizing costs
• Creating and maintaining system and user documentation
• Ensuring software quality during design, development, and testing
• Analyzing data to support system integrations, data quality efforts,
and resolving production issues
• Participating in system design, in particular user interface design
• Facilitating discussions and design sessions
• Contributing to standards development for documentation and assisting
with peer reviews to improve quality and consistency across projects
• Assisting in task planning, estimation, and scheduling
*REQUIREMENTS: *
*Education: *Bachelor degree
*Experience:*
3 or more years of experience in system and/or business analysis roles
(requirements, quality assurance, production support, and training).
Previous media industry and/or software development experience is
desirable, but not required.
*Methodology : *
Experience on projects using Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, is
desired.
Experience with and understanding of Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)
desired
*Skills: *
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to work
independently and in a team environment, ability to multi-task and work
effectively on multiple projects, understanding of basic finance, ability
to learn quickly, and ability to work with a wide variety of personalities
in multiple disciplines
*Software: *
Expert in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and moderate
skill with Structured Query Language (SQL), preferably with Oracle
databases, is required.
