If you are interested, please send me your updated resume along with the needed information listed below. *Sr.SharePoint Developer* *Location: Schaumburg, IL* *Duration: 6-12 Months* *Job description:* Code, test, and debug new software and make enhancements to existing software and systems to render their use more efficient. Using knowledge of systems engineering or computer programming, troubleshoot existing systems and streamline their operation. Maintain, patch, and program operating systems to allow applications running on them to function efficiently. May document standard operation of a system or technical measures taken or recommended to improve a system's functionalities. *KEY JOB FUNCTIONS* • Extensive experience administering large SharePoint farms • Experience with the following versions of SharePoint (2007, 2010 and 2013) • Track and research business solutions running in this environment in terms of efficient performance or obstacles to smooth production. • Troubleshoot more difficult or complex production slowdowns or bottlenecks and determine if OS environment or network is causing problem. • Document standard operation of systems in assigned network or environment; document measures taken to patch or upgrade OS and testing done to ensure continued smooth production. • Maintain or perform system upgrades, including installing up to date patches and service packs. Serve on larger projects involving team resources as a key technical resources • May control or manage system access; train and support users (fellow team members). • Support system users, responding with limits of the 24/7 systems service level agreement. This includes device, configuration, and monitoring requests from users. • Provide work guidance or technical assistance to less senior engineers. *EDUCATION* • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required *MINIMUM EXPERIENCE* • 4+ years of related experience *SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS* • Ability to own and resolve complex SharePoint system problems, engaging necessary teams as required, including Microsoft • Able to engineer technical solutions, including prepare detailed written/visual documentation (using Word,Visio, Excel, PowerPoint), and demonstrate strong analytical & problem-solving skills. • Minimum of 4 years demonstrated hands-on experience with the deployment, configuration, and implementation of Microsoft SharePoint (MOSS 2007). • SharePoint 2007 & 2010 experience (SharePoint 2013 is a plus) • Knowledge in administration, configuration & customization of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007/ SharePoint 2010 and Windows SharePoint Services. Microsoft Office Server System 2007 experience is a plus • Expert knowledge & experience with Microsoft Internet Information Services • Experience with InfoPath Forms Design & XML • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MSCE) preferred. • Working experience with VMware ESX server virtualization. • 2 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL server a plus • Excellent communication skills.
