*QA Test Lead Large Scale Program Investment or Banking* Our client in Enfield, CT is seeking a QA Test Lead for a large scale integration program. The QA Test Lead will coordinate/Plan and Develop test plans for each test phase, including Functional, Integrated Testing and End to End Program Testing. Experience with Investments or Banking is a definite plus. This position requires a person who can get up to speed very quickly.
*Responsibilities:* · Provides technical expertise in testing and is responsible for testing quality from start to finish, which includes editing and maintaining test strategies, transformation of test strategies into test plans. · Provides technical expertise in testing and product knowledge · The development of prioritized test requirements and test cases, construction and execution of test plans, and the evaluation of test results. · Defines test requirements and cases; participates to ensure test plans and scenarios deliver high quality solutions that satisfy business requirements. · Monitors scope and requirements changes, assesses the impact on the test management deliverables. · Provides accurate estimates and reports of test progress. · Derives test scenarios/cases in accordance with testing strategy and risk based test methodology; ensures traceability back to requirements and solutions, and ensures quality in the representation of defects for correction and during retest. · Provides Functional, Integration testing and End to End Program Testing signoff. · Assists with business acceptance testing to enable signoff from key stakeholders and project sponsors. *Required Skills* · A minimum of 5-7 years of testing and test management on large software implementation projects (should include completion of 2 complete projects) · Knowledge and understanding of the Investment and/or Banking industry · People management and leadership skills, including coaching, supervision, staffing, and conflict management · Strong executive presence and ability to interact with top executives · Experience with configuration management / build management procedures · In-depth knowledge of the SDLC as well as various software testing methodologies · Highly experienced writing test plans and test cases, and documenting software defects and anomalies · Highly experienced in test execution and management · Working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, Word, Power Point and Visio Thanks & Regards, Fazal Mahmood Aspire Systems Inc.
