*What the environment: *There are 10 SharePoint sites, these sites have
already been rebuilt/redefined. They are a small team; they like to joke
around, there are flexible work hours.

*Hours: *40 hours a week, 8-5, flex work hours, there will be some after
hours support as needed.





*Job Description (notes from hiring manager)*

*Must Haves:*

·         5-8 years SharePoint engineering/administration experience. The
manager would like an Engineer/Admin who is okay with doing some of the day
to day admin work but it comfortable getting into the architecture side of
things.

·         Must have experience with SharePoint 2010. They must know how to
set up new libraries, new folder groups, new accounts, and have experience
with security access rights.

·         Experience with version upgrades, AD integration (they already
have AD installed in their environment but this person needs to know how to
fix it if it breaks/have the previous knowledge to fix it), and SharePoint
deployments.

·         This person needs to be able to come in and look at the
SharePoint environment and understand what needs to be done/changes that
need to be made. So a very small portion of this will involve some
architecture BUT this person does not need to have previous architecture
experience. If someone wants exposure to doing some architect work, this
would be a great opportunity for them.

·         Good communication/customer service skills – the main issue they
are having right now is finding a candidate with solid communication
skills.







*Day to Day  % breakdown of daily duties:*

·         This person will be the primary SharePoint person in the group.
They have someone who focuses on the network side of things, the database
side, etc.

·         30% Engineering/Architecture regarding performance and high
availability

·         30% day to day customer service focused activities regarding site
administration for the business users Fidelity supports.

·         30% look at future upgrade opportunities or hosting opportunities
in the cloud

·         SharePoint architecture & configuration management

·         Assist with end-user requests including access security, password
resets, new site set-up

·         High level of application availability

·         Optimized system performance

·         Develop and maintain user dashboards

·         Provide guidance, training to SharePoint end-users

·         Provide critical problem solving and advanced trouble-shooting

·         Application patching (requires after hours support)

·         Ensure effective governance processes are established and
maintained

·         Maintain current operational documentation detailing technical
environment, application configuration and support processes

·         Understand business needs and champion innovative solutions

·         Expert understanding of product capabilities and business
practices for usage and deployment

·         Ensure appropriate application and data backups are captured,
practice recovery processes

·         Maintain product budgets and effective expense management

·         Perform monthly user access audits

·         Mobile access and synchronization via SharePlus

·         Work closely with executive team users

·         SharePlus for iPad (a plus, not a requirement)
