Exercises judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Incumbent plans and carries out work independently and uses own initiative and judgment to handle non-routine matters and ambiguous issues. The Integrated Solutions Desk (ISD) is supporting complex Customer Contact Center Services for our customers. As the primary resolver group for the contact center environment, the ISD requires an additional highly-skilled senior engineer with experience managing contact center applications (Genesys) in an enterprise network topology. The role will delve into the customer environment and both document and provide escalation and intervention for issues relating both to the call center functionality, as well as the over-all interoperability of the sites – clarifying communication paths and functions during high pressure events. Additionally, this function will contribute to the on-going service improvement efforts of the ISD by identifying and establishing new processes and solutions for improved efficiencies and capabilities for the ISD. Normally receives only general instructions on new or more complex assignments. Decisions are made independently and are acted upon by self and others. Responsible for establishing operating guidelines or methods for others. Provides technical guidance to lower level staff and may lead project team(s). Advisory or negotiative in nature and involves both exchange of technical or complex information, and is called upon to convince or negotiate with senior levels of management or equivalents on matters of significant consequence to the company.
