IT Oracle EBS Manufacturing & Supply Chain Lead Job Description The IT Lead for Manufacturing & Supply Chain Systems is responsible for working closely with the business partners / business to support and deliver system solutions. This will require understanding of end to end business processes of Manufacturing & Supply Chain and how they are implemented in IT applications. The Lead will provide hands on guidance on business requirements development, system design and delivery. Responsibilities * Provide techno-functional support and analyze Manufacturing & Supply Chain systems and make recommendations for improved effectiveness and efficiency. * Act as the liaison between cross-functional groups by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved through IT solutions. * Provide day to day hands on problem management, guidance, and support to the team. * Manage, prioritize, sequence project demand based on resource availability and timelines. * Ensure end to end understanding of Business Processes and systems solutions. * Lead projects and manage requirements development, functional design and Technical Design * Provide recommendations on Technology solutions to address business needs. * Configure and test Oracle Applications 12 e-Business Suite: Oracle Inventory (INV), Bills of Material (BOM), Process manufacturing, Discrete Manufacturing, Order Management (OM) and Advance Pricing. * Develops and documents detailed program specifications, business process models and scenarios. * Determines the technical, interfacing and operational requirements to resolve Oracle EBS Software issues. * Leads the configuration and administration of the Oracle EBS software as per business and technical requirements. * Participates in post-production software support and problem resolution. Requirements * 12+ years of IT industry work experience including business systems analysis, solution design, application development and deployment of major ERP/Enterprise solutions. * MUST have at least 8+ years of Oracle Application implementation / Support experience with Oracle Process Manufacturing and Supply chain modules. * Hands-on experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Applications with MES and other Process Manufacturing areas is a must. * Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Manufacturing & Supply Chain (OM, Inventory, PO, Mobile Supply Chain, Discrete & Process manufacturing, ASCP & Demantra Demand planning) * Experience in Oracle e-Business suite best practices. * Good working knowledge of Oracle e-Business architecture and administration and the ability to quickly diagnose and solve system problems. * Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. * Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience. * Communicates effectively with customers to identify needs and evaluate technical solution alternatives. * Ability to conduct workshops to core team, implementation teams, and end users * Able and willing to informally mentor existing team members * Strong project management skills * Effective procedure and workflow documentation skills preferred * Should have basic Oracle Application related technical skills; must have knowledge of Oracle Applications Architecture * High degree of adaptability.
