Duration : 12+ Months Rate: $20/hr Required skills: SQL,ETL,Hl7 Basic Qualification: T-SQL Healthcare ETL Additional skills: T-SQL Healthcare HL7 is a plus Job Description: Test MaintenaceThe Product Engineer (PE) is responsible for the implementation and integration of clinical information system data using data mining and ETL (extract, transform, and load) processes. 55 Apply standard and custom clinical data extraction algorithms by using regular expression, T-SQL , and ETL processes.15 Make minor necessary changes to custom clinical data extraction using regular expression 15 Running standard scripts to provide QA review and validation summaries.15 Completes data extraction issue investigation and resolution if needed; ensuring adherence to procedural standards and resolution release plan.Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Related Profession.1-5 years IT experience, Healthcare IT experience preferred.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals.Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer-service skills.Good organizational, time management, customer service and problem-solving skills and the ability to work accurately and meet deadlines with frequent interruptions.Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.Excellent analytical skills to comprehensively analyze and interpret policies, procedures and situations in a multifaceted way and possess strong problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to complex issues.Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks accurately.Ability to adhere to procedural and/or regulatory requirements for Good Documentation Practices (GDP).Ability to relate to individuals from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and to work with them in a fair, supportive and cooperative manner. Ability to recall, retrieve and communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately and concisely and to non-technical audience/customers. Working experience using relational databases and Microsoft Transcript-SQL (T-SQL).HL7 interface mapping experience preferred.Knowledge of regular expression preferred.Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) preferred.Business Intelligence (BI) experience preferred.
