*Sr QA Automation Tester * *Responsibilities: * ? A team member of the testing organization, developing automation test scripts for the exchange ? Should be ready to put extra effort and to help other team members; also ready for late evening and weekend work to accomplish the given tasks for the NY-HX project. Required Skills: ? Seven (7) years of intensive and progressive experience in software application testing with three years within the last six (6) calendar years of intensive and progressive experience in performing software testing for complex to highly complex systems, and the last three (3) years developing automation test scripts. ? A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or Information Technology. ? Must have a proven experience of at least 3 consecutive and recent years in developing automation framework and automation (functional) test scripts ? Must have proven experience developing automation scripts in either Rational RFT or Selenium ? Must have proven experience in developing automation test scripts with Object Oriented programming ? Must have hands on working experience in writing SQL using joins for data validation from various data sources ? Have hands-on experience in developing automation scripts for a very complex and large multi portals web-based application built on JAVA with backend batch jobs and interfaces ? Must have good analytical skills and proven experience in analyzing and writing automation scripts for complex business rules and rule engines ? Must be a team player, quick responsiveness, contributor, coordinator, cooperative, understanding, polite and adaptive to accept changes in a complex changing environment ? Must be willing to accept direction from seniors, colleagues and management ? Self-motivated individual with a desire to learn ? Vast knowledge of automation testing techniques to cover all possible corner cases for automation testing, verification and validation techniques ? Determines automation testing strategies and guides the work of less experienced team members. ? Communicates the status of potential issues and outstanding problems to project and quality assurance personnel. ? Performs quality control checks on software release candidates, determines final issue resolution status, and authorizes progression to next testing phase. ? Must be a team player, quick responsiveness, contributor, coordinator, cooperative, understanding, polite and adaptive to accept changes in a complex changing environment ? Must be willing to accept direction from seniors, colleagues and management ? Must have a thorough working experience in QA/Testing methodologies and software development life cycle, including have a complete SDLC understanding ? Experience working with query, configuration management and defect tracking tools used throughout the testing team *Preferred Skills: * ? Hands on knowledge of healthcare insurance or government domain is preferred ? Proven experience in test automation using RFT preferred ?
