*position 1----We are looking for candidates with insurance tax background. Again, this is not tax filing or forms. We're looking for BAs who understand the rules and calculations related to TAMRA/MEC, Exempt/Non-Exempt, ACB, Net Cost, etc.* *position 2----------We are also looking for BAs with experience in the Life70 Insurance/Annuity Administrative system.* General description This position will be in support of supplementary systems, such as financial and reporting systems, archiving solutions, database upgrades, and various other miscellaneous projects. So insurance experience is not absolutely required, but candidates with that insurance background would have an advantage. - Experienced Business Analyst who demonstrates a general knowledge of insurance and/or financial business areas sufficient to resolve problems, assess current state vs future state and perform gap analysis. - Works both independently and as a team member on multiple projects; provides program requirements for multiple individuals. - Provides internal consulting assistance and analytical support on insurance, fraternal and financial administrative systems processing. - Reviews and analyzes system enhancements, new products, production support initiatives, program modifications and administrative procedures recommending changes, improvements and implementation requirements. - Coordinates and consults with other Business Analysts and Developers of varying levels to convert operating/user department data, storage, maintenance, database analysis and report display/generation of data requirements into business specifications for software program design and compilation by the programming staff. - Prepares testing artifacts and executes system tests. Documents, analyzes and communicates test results. - Ability to manipulate and work with large amount of data and various data models. - BA or BS in related field with 3-5 years business analysis and related insurance industry experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
