Duration: long term Authorization: us citizen, green card Interview: phone, skype AWS SECURITY SPECIALIST Overview Brief statement about project type and how role supports We are looking for a Security SME to assist in the development of a Notification Service that delivers SMS/text and email messages to our client's users by making use of Amazon's Secure Notification Service (SNS) and Secure Email Service (SES). AWS Security Specialist will be responsible for defining the security architecture of the solution and working with client's Security Leads to achieve ATO for the solution. Specific responsibilities include: · · Design, review and monitor AWS security and operations control configurations (Security Groups/User Access Controls/Cloudtrail or Cloudwatch monitoring) · Design, review and monitor security aspects of AWS SNS and SES configurations · Assist client in achieving ATO for use of AWS SNS and SES, including assisting in development of System Security Plans (SSP) and other ATO artifacts · Identify, implement, and assist client in any vulnerability, compliance scan, and security event reporting that may be required · Perform vulnerability scanning risk analysis and coordinate technical remediation activities · Identify, implement, and assist client with any agent installs and policy updates that may be required · Provide support for Security Incident Response procedures · Provide security operations support by troubleshooting incident tickets related to security · Support new development or enhancement initiatives that requires security infrastructure/operations activities Technical Skills Skill Years/Level of Experience Mandatory Experience reviewing and/or monitoring AWS security and operations control configurations 2-3 Previous experience working with and implementing an AWS SES and SNS based solution (a plus, but not required) 2+ At least one recognized security professional certification such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, CEH, and GIAC. 2+ Experience creating technical security architecture design documentation and standard operating procedures. 6+ Experience security hardening, vulnerability scanning, security event monitoring, and penetration testing 6+ Experience analyzing malware, Advanced Persistent Threats, security breaches 6+ Experience of application security design, development, analysis, configuration, compliance, and implementation (some project experience is a plus), or equivalent educational experience with application security experience 6+ Experience providing security operations support by troubleshooting incident tickets related to security Preferred (in order of preference) Job Responsibilities We are looking for a Security SME to assist in the development of a Notification Service that delivers SMS/text and email messages to our client's users by making use of Amazon's Secure Notification Service (SNS) and Secure Email Service (SES).
