I have a BI Developer role with Optum (United Health Group). It is contract to hire (GC or USC) and it is in Raleigh, North Carolina.
*-Candidates NEED to be USC or GC* *Bi Developer – Optum (UHG) – Raleigh, North Carolina* Good screening questions to ask candidates: 1) Have you created reporting framework from scratch? 2) Do you have any big data or cloud base experience tied into your report development work? 3) Please explain your data mapping experience. Take an active support role in sourcing, organizing, maintaining and ultimately democratizing large volumes of data through the development of innovative solutions, reporting dashboards and well organized databases Required Skills: • 5+ years systems development and implementation experience on Data Warehousing projects • 5+ years of Hands-on experience with ETL Tools such as QlikView, Pentaho or Tableau or IBM Cognos • Strong knowledge in database technologies such as SQL Server, MYSQL and Oracle • 4+ Hands on experience on writing complex SQL statements, developing database stored procedures • Developing reports using any of above BI tools • Develop data cubes Preferred Skills: • Healthcare domain knowledge is preferred • Good communication skills • Ability to Work collaboratively in global project with a positive team spirit and ensure team work & coordination. • Should be flexible with the working hours • Should be able to work independently and act proactively • Qlikview experience (this is a BI dashboard for reporting).
