Database Administrator consultant for 3 to 6 month to assist on implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting SQL Server Databases and related Enterprise applications. Minimum 3 years’ experience required for Microsoft SQL server 2005/2008/2012/2014. MS Windows Server and Windows networking knowledge is required. Experience with Microsoft IIS is a plus. Must have good working experience with T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS. Good communications and documentation skills are required. The candidate is able to work in a team environment, work independently and proactively as needed to identify problems and find solutions. The ideal candidate will be managing Microsoft SQL server databases for variety of Enterprise applications. This includes for following responsibilities: Install, configure, maintain and support SQL Server databases worldwide. Maintain any update patches. Install/Create SQL server clustering, SQL Replication, Stored Procedure and Triggers when required. Experience in T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS. Monitor and troubleshoot databases to optimize database performance, resource usage and perform daily check of all the SQL related processes. Provide support of all access to data contained in a database from various applications as well as data retrieval for application analysis. Database related software installation, upgrades, maintenance and troubleshooting, including client modules and web modules. Database Backup and Recovery and the Disaster Recovery Planning. Provide technical assistance to other offices administrators on SQL related issues and upgrades. Thorough documentation on installation, troubleshooting and procedures.
