I’m currently seeking an automation developer. We would prefer someone with Robotic Process Automation but it’s very hard to find so someone with strong test automation skills with tools like QTP/UFT, Selenium, or Cucumber would be fine. They will be developing automation scripts so some experience as a software developer as well would be a plus.
Client: JPMC Location: Houston, TX Duration: 12 months Rate: $48 C2C Responsibility: - Responsible for developing solutions for automating manual workflows using Robotic process automation software, Softomotive ProcessRobot - Responsible for developing database objects, tuning SQL code, extracting, and normalization of data from multiple sources - Application development, testing, deployment, and support for Automation initiative: Application Development: - Design a solution and create pseudo code - Develop automation routines using Softomotive Winautomation/ProcessRobot, Visual Basic, Power shell, Oracle Database, Python, Reflection, and .Net technologies - Develop database objects required for monitoring and metrics reporting - Develop solution for monitoring, auditing, security, and resiliency functions - Develop in non-production environment using RPA solutions described above - Conduct Joint application development sessions as needed - Adhere to best practice guidelines - Develop using object oriented programming to develop reusable modules - Document technical specification including design pilot solution and the flow process - Provide production support as part of Dev-Ops team - Participate in design reviews / code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation. Application Testing: - Develop test case/script to complete the unit testing and support system testing - Conduct QC, Unit, Stress, and UAT testing - Document defects and raise necessary requests to fix the bugs - In case of product defects, follow up with Softomotive or other vendors to seek end to end solution - Validate the results, perform defect investigation, and develop resolution - Get QA signoffs from end user and management - Production Deployment Deployment and support: - Communicate Pilot and GO live to EAA/RPA management - Create change requests - Conduct Pilot/Pre-Prod cycles in parallel to current process - Validate the pilot results - Production deployment/GO live using JPMC process. Activate automation, security, monitoring, reporting, and auditing modules - Conduct DR tests - Provide post Live support and validations - Provide support during outages or application changes - Conduct Trainings/Knowledge transfer and develop documentation for BAU support Required Skills: - Experience in automation development using robotic process automation technology - Experience in Robotic automation using one of the RPA software such as, WinAutomation, ProcessRobot, Automation Anywhere, BluePrism, UIPath, Open Span, QTP or Selenium - Experience in VB/VBA/PowerShell/C#/Python - Experience with Oracle DB development such as PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, packages etc. - Expertise in HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript programing - Create documentation and train other developers - Drive end to end technical solution and coordinating various phases of development cycles - Monitoring and supporting production applications Plus: - Experience with developing web solutions using ASP.NET, C#, WPF, UI patterns, MVC, Entity Framework, Telerik Kendo UI, AJAX, Bootstrap, Angular JS, and JQuery.
