Thank you, *ETL Developer - Programmer 2* *SCOPE OF SERVICES: * The ETL developer will be assigned to work within the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services on procurement and sourcing related projects that may include: operational improvements; and new strategies for information and data sharing across the procurement lifecycle, such as introducing technological systems/databases. MOCS is building a data warehouse to store and information across multiple city procurement and contracting systems. The ETL developer will work with modelers, BI developers, a Data Architect, Business Analysts, and consultants to plan and implement the solution. The ETL developer will be responsible for eliciting, documenting and validating requirements from multiple business/stakeholder communities, including vendor, inter-agency, and/or agency-specific requirements, and translating those requirements into solution designs. Responsibilities: Provide technical support for the administration and production of MOCS Informatica. Responsible for data loading and manipulation to ensure data sources are efficiently and effectively loaded into the data warehouse. Work with Cognos to generate reports. Will need to enhance existing artifacts & troubleshoot.. Work closely with MOCS application services and operations team on ETL development efforts including analysis and design of integration solutions, data and reporting needs of internal and external stakeholders, and enhancement related to applications and services. Develop interface with external systems that exchange data with MOCS database. Access legacy ETL procedures for logical / technical issues and work with Data Architect and Business system Lead to resolve issues. Work with Business and Data Team members to help upgrade current infrastructure and systems. Assist in the development of reporting interfaces by ensuring ETL procedures integrate properly with necessary dependent systems. Tracking, analyzing and resolving trouble tickets. Strong knowledge of XML technologies (XML, XSL, XSD) Ability to write complex ETL procedures using SQL / T-SQL. Experience working with complex SQL and its variations (such as PL/SQL) is an asset. Hands on knowledge of SQA, PKI, web services, Enterprise Service Bus technologies. Expertise with integration technologies and processes, enterprise data warehouse implementations and reporting tools, integrating multiple legacy and strategic systems. Solid understand of enterprise service bus concepts. Knowledge of testing tools and techniques and executing test scripts to test performance of ETL procedures. Significant experience in development, maintenance, and enhancements of informatica Mappings, Work-flows, and processes. Knowledgeable in several multi-dimensional and data mining techniques such as EDW, ODS, DM, ROLAP and MOLAP. Experience with Informatica and TM1 Turbointegrator.
