Please find the requirement details below, If you are interested please share your resume with contact details and work authorization. *Senior Informatica Developer* *Location : Knoxville, TN* *Duration: Long term contract* *Roles and Responsibilities: * - Analyze, evaluate, deconstruct, construct, and maintain the underlying relational data models for multi-tiered applications in an Oracle on Solaris/Linux environment. - Assist in the architecture, implementation and deployment of an enterprise operational reporting database warehouse. - Analyze disparate data sources to develop aggregation models for inclusion into the operational data warehouse. - Design and develop data structures for mining and information retrieval applications which support small scale information needs as well as enterprise wide strategic initiatives. - Work with subject matter experts to derive data requirements and design appropriate data models. - Design and develop ETL processes for cleansing and loading data into the operational warehouse, as well as developing batch and real-time solutions to support application and integration initiatives. - Perform data profiling tasks including column analysis, structural analysis, simple rule analysis, and complex rule analysis. - Assist with resolving data anomalies and data quality issues. - Perform advanced tuning of applications and software processes, including customization, problem analysis and resolution. - Assist with writing and maintaining project documentation, including but not limited to formal requirements, design documents and test plans. - Interact with UNIX/Windows system administration and DBA groups - Support development initiatives by working with application design and development teams to reach optimal data design, quality, and integration patterns. - Support development of ad-hoc and canned reports to support business initiatives and objectives. - Perform other duties as needed, and as directed by supervisor. *Education: *Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience preferred. *Experience: * - 5+ years’ experience with Oracle and/or SqlServer database programming and analysis. - Complete understanding of Oracle internal architecture, security model, object model, tuning, and indexing. - Experience in data modeling to support data integration efforts. Experience in reverse engineering, deconstructing data models, and data extraction on unfamiliar data stores. - Ability to design patterns and structures within semi structured or unstructured data. - 5+ years using InformaticaPowerCenter. - Strong experience writing shell scripts on UNIX platforms. - A good understanding of Web Services and Service Oriented Architecture - Good working knowledge of XML and working with XML documents within Oracle and Informatica. - Exposure to both SOAP based web-services as well as RESTful web-services. - 5+ years developing SQL and PL/SQL code. - Good understanding of Oracle concepts like Oracle Window functions, pipeline functions, cursors etc... - Experience working in an environment that employs agile development methodologies (scrum, kanban, etc.). - Experience in designing and developing new Business Objects universes and updating the existing universes using multiple sources. Must be able to design and develop underlying structures to support BO initiatives. - Experience in developing and maintaining Business Objects ad-hoc and canned reports. This must include sub-queries, variables, web services, stored procedures, and other advanced reporting ability and schedule reports and publications. - Familiar with general AWS cloud infrastructure - Efficient in modifying and executing Python scripts - MUST be familiar with restful and soap based interfaces - Business Objects and Tableau experience a plus *Platforms:* Experience with UNIX, preferably Linux. Experience with Windows 2000 and/or XP preferred. *Skills/Abilities:* Must have great communication skills, be highly motivated, self-directed and have experience working on large projects. This individual must also be able to mentor other team members in the skilled areas listed above, and provide leadership within the team as necessary.
