*Storage Engineer (3 openings)*

2 year contract

$40/hr MAXX

Reston, VA



               -Work with customers (application developers, production
support analysts) to gather storage requirements

               -Plan work to provision storage to new servers or add
additional capacity

               -Work with Systems and Database administrators to ensure
storage is integrated properly into the systems.

               -Respond to incidents including

                               -Storage performance issues

                               -Failures the storage infrastructure.

               -Participate in project work streams to design and build new
IT solutions.



Required Experience:

- SAN administrator with a minimum of 2-3 years experience managing either
EMC or HDS storage arrays. Experience with one or more of the following
models are desired:

- EMC Symmetrix DMX-4, VMAX, VMAX-3

- HDS USP-V, VSP

- Knowledge of Storage tools from EMC or HDS, such as:

- SRDF, ECC, HUR

- Experience with zoning, configuration and management of Brocade SAN
switches, i.e., DCX



Preferred experience/skills:

- Minimum of 5 years System Administration experience encompassing Windows,
Solaris, AIX, or Linux.

- Knowledge of the Microsoft, Solaris, AIX, and Linux platforms as it
relates to mounting and managing LUN's and HBA configuration.

- Familiarity with multi-pathing and volume management
