·         Important Skills

·         Technical – Apex coding experience which is an
object-oriented programming language within Salesforce (if they have a
strong java or c++ background they will be able to pick this up too and if
they understand the technical aspects then the configuration piece will be
a no brainer), experience customizing salesforce (there will be 80 %
customizing code and 20% new dev)

·         Soft – Strong communication skills. This person will need to work
with the business and advise/consult the business and need to be able to
communicate effectively.



·         *Must Haves:*

·         3 + years’ experience of hands on development within Salesforce,
ideally with the Apex code which is an object-oriented programming language.

·         Strong communication skills

·         Strong documentation skills

·         Ability to convert to a permanent CVS employee without sponsorship

·         *Plus:*

·         Healthcare experience or PBM (pharmacy benefit manager)
experience is a huge plus, they have hired people out of Iron Mountain in
the past and Fidelity. The manager comes from Putnam, so they certainly
don’t require people to have the industry experience prior.



·         *Day to Day:*

·         80% customization of existing code & 20% new development

·         They will be supporting the sales application across the entire
enterprise for CVS nationally for 30 different user groups totaling 8,500
users/licenses. They will work with their end users to customize and
deliver to the needs of the business, and work consultatively as well as
hands on technically. They will communicate 80% of the time with the PBM
area of the business, with the other 20% allocated to the Retail business.

·         Three years ago CVS centralized their PMO and pulled QA, BA, and
PM resources out of all groups including this one. Developers have to be
able to work in collaboration with internal resources within the PMO and
also be flexible if they need to just get something done themselves like
gather certain requirements etc.

·         Reporting to the Senior Manager, Customer Relationship Management
this position is responsible for development and elaboration of Sales and
CRM business initiatives. The successful candidate will effectively
collaborate with CVS Health partner leaders during the design phase of
product development projects in order to set the stage for further
technical elaboration and construction.  The candidate will be expected to
understand the current enterprise solution and how they are part of an
integrated solution. The candidate must be able to vet out enhancements and
new product ideas with IT partners to expand the depth and breadth of
Salesforce CRM, Platform, and Partner functionality.

·         This position may have some business interaction.
Responsibilities include:

·         Design/Development of system enhancements on the Salesforce
platform.

·         Providing insight into Salesforce product usage, functionality
and capabilities.

·         Participation in estimating systems costs, ROI, and some light
business Analysis activity.



·     Qualifications



·         This position requires a proven track record in partnering with
the IT organization.  Individual must possess expertise in Salesforce.com
and a strong understanding of current IT systems and capabilities.  The
developer assists in the business process re-design and documentation as
needed for new technology. The candidate must possess seasoned, hands-on,
successful experience in design and development on the Salesforce platform.
Experience with the following:

·         Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer

·         Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Administrator

·         Preferred background implementing / optimizing  Salesforce across
multiple organizations

·         Knowledge of Salesforce.com Architecture, Design, Development,
Administration and

·         Operational Support required

·         Force.com developer toolkit - Apex, Visualforce, Force.com IDE,
Force.com Migration Tool, Web Services/SOA & Metadata APIs, SQL, RDBMS
experience required

·         Strong system development lifecycle experience

·         Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and to
integrate business processes

·         across disparate systems

·         Preferred experience Salesforce Application Exchange Products

·         Object Oriented Development Skills (Java, .Net) preferred

·         Web development skills including CSS, JavaScript, DHTML, HTML,
XML, SOAP,

·         AJAX preferred

·         Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills

·         Experience with data migration and ETL tools such as Data Loader,
Informatica is a plus

·         Healthcare, Call Center experience is a plus
