This is with the Public Education Dept. for the State of NM. It will be located in Santa Fe, NM. $45/hr MAX [http://rws.allegisgroup.com/RWS/images/ic_info_tooltip.png] 1.) 5+ years SharePoint development (2013 preferred) 2.) 5+ years SQL Server Database 3.) 5+ SharePoint Development tools such as: Java, JavaScript, jQuery Job Description: This client is seeking an experienced SharePoint Developer to work in their agile environment. The most important aspect of this role is 5+ years’ experience with MS SQL Server Database & SharePoint Development. This person will be developing SharePoint to act as a the User Interface (UI) for the company's end users and they will need to use their knowledge of SQL to link the SharePoint UI input back to a SQL database as a way to collect data. They need a SharePoint developer that has used all tools associated with SharePoint Development such as Java, JavaScript and jQuery. This role will not be heavy GUI and administration focused, but this person will have to really understand development of SharePoint. Currently, this client has the architecture of SharePoint framework built, but they need someone to come in and develop that instance into a different branch of the business and customize it to that department's need. This new instance will handle the workflow of grants and project management. Additional responsibilities/experience include, but are not limited to: 1.) Strong analytical, problem solving skills and technical troubleshooting 2.) Able to work collaboratively with both business partners and technology team to build solutions that work 3.) Able to support multiple projects/products at the same time. You investigate and resolve any production issues. You demonstrate a passion to learn new and emerging technologies. 4.) At least 5 years of development experience with SharePoint 2013 or higher 5.) At least 5 years of database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher 6.) Software configuration best practices (Continuous Integration/Build, Source Control, etc.) 7.)
