Our client, a major Biotech firm located in Northern NJ is seeking an IT Business Analyst for a long term consulting assignment Business Analyst details: Ability to review data from disparate sources, identify commonalities and pull together a single reportable data source for reporting. Then present the summary of this information in a meaningful way via a PowerPoint presentation. Works independently across all IT functions to create, socialize and execute processes to manage data bases to ensure IT management visibility and appropriate analysis is available. Identifies exceptions and highlights impact on decisions. Knows overall IT purpose and how data supports management's needs and decision making. Leverages tools available and creates templates where needed. The resource should have strong written and communication skills. PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Word are critical tools for the resource to be an expert in. Data visualization tools such as PowerBi, Tableau, and PivotCharts are a plus. The individual will be creating communications and working with various C level & IT leaders on messaging for the group. Additionally the resource will be a go to contact for first level support on the configuration and processes around the tools and processes that the group supports. Experience with Project Management, Agile and related best practices is a plus. Knowledge of EA, ITSM, IT Benchmarking, Project Portfolio Management and/or Application Portfolio Management are a plus.
