wsdl2java tool crash when xsd import are too big

wsdl2java client generation crashes with an CodeGenerationError if xsd import (
one or many included ) are too big. The cause of the error is unfound Type, but
the (not found) type can vary with an indirect modification, such as local
namespace .
Generate the code with a flatenned ligthened wsdl ( extracted element with
XMLSpy) but equivalent file, well successes.
Note that Axis 1 embedded in old eclipse (Galileo) can deal with the same wsdl,
where as Axis2 cannot.
