hmm, seems like someone has broken the functionality. If you can please create a JIRA.

If it works you should see something like below.

Thank you Deepal. But when I go to axis2 administration web application at the left and I click engage module to a service, I can only see module combo box and service combo box but no engage button.
I mean I can see the module I have applied and I see the services as well but there is no engage button.

It shows like the following.

Engage Module for a Service

To engage a module for a axis service,

  1. select the module you want to engage
  2. select the axis service you like the module to be engaged.
  3. click "Engage".

Select a Module :
ping metadataExchange counterModule jaxws addressing script soapmonitor mtompolicy

Select a Service :
ReadDatabase FFTServiceNew MyService SIServiceNew BPNNServiceNew

However when I apply the second method, then the module is applied to every service, not to a specific service.

You can engage the module to a Web service either using axis2 administration web application. In the left hand side you should be able to see a link call engage module to a service. Another way to engage the module to a service is by changing services.xml. Add the following tag to your services.xml

<module ref="your-module"/>

Hi,

I am trying to develop a handler and engage that with a specific web service, however in the axis2 administration there is no button like engage.
However I can engage a module globally but can not do that for a specific web service.
Can anyone kindly guide me or refer me to a tutorial to follow for this.

Regards,

Sardar Hussain
