Eranga used to work on the CORBA support when Axis2 was still a sub-project of Apache Web Services. For some reasons, he was not included in the initial list of committers for the new Axis TLP. The Axis Project Management Committee (PMC, see [1]) voted to invite him to join the project again as per the Apache process. There were 13 +1 votes and no -1 votes.
