I've changed the build to update the version number and release date automatically so that we can eliminate that manual step.
Normally I would have regenerated the release artifacts, but since there have been other changes on these branches (that in particular require Axiom 1.2.13 which has not yet been released), I think this would be an overkill just to fix the glitch in the README file. We have exactly 3 +1 binding votes and the vote has been open for (a lot) more than 72 hours. Therefore I'm calling the vote closed and I will proceed with the release, so that we can then start to prepare Sandesha2 1.6.1 as well.
