Marking this issue as resolved. Nethanel has validated that the issue no longer
occurs in his environment. In addition, with my changes it is now impossible to
get the circular reference pattern shown in the description of this issue. If
there are still issues with the Oracle SAX parser, then a new issue should be
opened with additional information.
